About
'Aka tsuma gaki' is a Japanese maple cultivar distinguished by chartreuse-green leaves with light purple-red margins in spring, a characteristic shared with its parent cultivar 'Tsuma gaki'. The foliage transitions to bright yellow in autumn. This selection develops a spreading habit, reaching approximately 8 feet in height after 10 years.
