About
Mikawa yatsubusa seed produces seedlings with highly variable characteristics, as they are not true-to-type clones of the parent cultivar. Seedlings may develop either upright, fast-growing green forms or more compact plants with densely overlapping leaves resembling the parent tree. Seeds require 60-90 days of cold stratification before germination. This variable outcome makes Mikawa yatsubusa seed valuable for growers interested in exploring the genetic diversity within this Japanese maple line.
