About
Acer shirasawanum 'Junihitoye' is a slow-growing, upright Japanese maple distinguished by its deeply lobed leaves, which typically display up to twelve lobes and create a notably rounded leaf silhouette. Foliage emerges and persists green through spring and summer, then transforms to vibrant shades of red, orange, and yellow in autumn. This cultivar, documented in Japanese literature since the 1800s, reaches approximately 6 feet in height at maturity with an upright growth habit.
