Hydrangea anomala ssp. petiolaris 'Early Light' Variegated Climbing Hydrangea

'Early Light' is a variegated climbing hydrangea with chartreuse-tinted new growth marked by prominent white variegation in spring; foliage deepens to darker green with increased sun exposure. The white variegation fades as summer progresses, coinciding with the plant's display of white lacecap flowers. It climbs via aerial rootlets and performs best with afternoon shade protection, particularly in warmer regions. Provide support such as a trellis, fence, or tree for optimal growth.
