About
Acer palmatum 'Carli's Corner' is a dwarf, upright Japanese maple that originated as a witches broom mutation, characterized by short, compact branching. The leaves emerge bright red in spring and early summer, fading on mature foliage by midsummer; however, the cultivar regularly produces fresh bright red growth throughout the season, creating a distinctive two-toned effect. It reaches approximately 3-4 feet in height at maturity and grows best in sun to part sun conditions.
