Berberis thunbergii ‘Lime Glow’ Lime-Green Japanese Barberry

Berberis thunbergii 'Lime Glow' is a deciduous Japanese barberry with lime-green to golden foliage in spring and summer that transitions to brilliant red in autumn. The shrub reaches 4-5 feet tall over ten years and grows dense and compact, making it suitable for mixed plantings or as a standalone specimen. It tolerates full sun without leaf scorch, thrives in various soil types including dry conditions, and maintains its form with minimal care. The thorny stems provide natural deer resistance.
