Beni yubi gohon

Acer palmatum 'Beni yubi gohon' is a dwarf, upright Japanese maple with a distinctive linearilobum form. The narrow, deeply dissected leaf lobes create a fine, bamboo-like appearance and emerge light red in spring, deepen to dark red through summer, then shift to orange-red in autumn. Slower-growing than other linearilobum cultivars with proportionally smaller leaves, this variety typically reaches 6 feet tall and suits compact garden spaces.
