About
Beesia deltophylla is a rare, evergreen woodland perennial native to China and Tibet, valued for its glossy, heart-shaped foliage that emerges bronze-black before maturing to deep forest green with striking light green veins. Growing slowly to approximately 8-12 inches tall and 12-18 inches wide, it thrives in rich, well-drained soil with consistent moisture in partial to full shade. Its persistent, elegant foliage makes it an excellent companion for Japanese maples and other shade-garden plantings.
