Acer waxmanii (Acer griseum xnikoense xtriflorum) Paperbark Hybrid Maple

Acer waxmanii is a rare hybrid maple resulting from a cross between an Acer griseum × nikoense hybrid and Acer triflorum. The tree combines the vigor of Nikko maple with distinctive peeling cinnamon bark characteristic of Acer griseum, along with the rough, fissured bark typical of Acer triflorum. Fall foliage ranges from orange to crimson red. It reaches approximately 15 feet in height after 10 years of growth.
