About
Crimson Sunset® is a hybrid maple combining Acer truncatum and Norway maple genetics, distinguished by deep purple foliage that mirrors the Crimson King cultivar. It develops a more compact and upright form than typical Shantung maples, reaching approximately 15-20 feet in height and 10-15 feet in width at maturity. The tree grows at a moderate rate and is suited to hardiness zones 5-9.
