About
Acer shirasawanum 'Yasemin' is a full moon Japanese maple with large, deeply lobed leaves that emerge deep maroon in spring, displaying more division than typical shirasawanum types, before turning bright crimson in fall. This hybrid selection develops a broad, spreading crown reaching 10-12 feet at maturity, combining the characteristic shape of A. shirasawanum with notable cold and heat tolerance. The cultivar performs well across a wide range of climates, making it suitable for both colder and warmer growing regions.
