Acer shirasawanum 'Season's of Change' Full Moon Japanese Maple

'Seasons of Change' is a recently introduced shirasawanum selection with large, rounded, deeply lobed leaves that display continuous color shifts throughout the growing season. New growth emerges green infused with red tones, gradually becoming predominantly green before returning to red-suffused foliage; this cycling repeats multiple times through summer. The cultivar is distinguished by deep purple stems on new growth, an unusual trait for Acer shirasawanum. Fall color progresses from yellow to bright orange and finally to fiery red, with an anticipated mature height of approximately 12 feet in 15 years.
