Acer shirasawanum 'Ogi no sen' Japanese Maple

'Ogi no sen' is a variegated cultivar of Acer shirasawanum with finely divided, elegantly lobed leaves displaying cream, pink, and green coloration that shifts throughout the growing season. The tree grows slowly, typically reaching 6-8 feet tall and 4-6 feet wide over ten years, with a graceful, spreading habit. Best color contrast is achieved in dappled shade, as intense afternoon sun can diminish the delicate variegation. This small deciduous tree is prized among collectors for its distinctive foliage and refined form.
