About
'Kalmthout' is a full moon maple selection originating from Arboretum Kalmthout in Belgium, distinguished by its light green, slightly cupped foliage that transitions to bright yellow infused with red tones in autumn. This cultivar develops a rounded habit, typically reaching 10-12 feet tall within 20 years. The gently cupped leaf form and reliable fall color make it a notable ornamental choice for temperate gardens.
