Acer rubrum Shocking Gold

Shocking Gold produces bright yellow foliage with orange-gold overtones in spring and summer, gradually fading to chartreuse by late summer while maintaining bright red petioles. Fall color transitions through yellow-orange to red tones. This cultivar grows vigorously to 20 feet or taller, developing into a substantial shade tree with a broad habit typical of red maples.
