About
This variegated form of sycamore maple produces leaves that emerge deep red to purple in spring, with petioles becoming bright red in summer under sufficient sun exposure. Fall color transitions to solid yellow and orange tones. The cultivar is vigorous and fast-growing, reaching 12-15 feet at maturity, and performs well in full sun to part shade, though afternoon shade is beneficial in very hot climates.
