About
'Yellow Submarine' is a Japanese maple cultivar distinguished by its bright yellow-green spring foliage, which transitions to golden yellow in summer and orange in fall. It develops a cascading, weeping habit and reaches approximately 6-8 feet tall and wide within ten years, making it suitable for small gardens and container cultivation. The cultivar prefers partial shade to full sun but benefits from afternoon shade protection to minimize leaf scorch.
