About
'Yellow Bird' is an upright Japanese maple with lightly serrated, palmate leaves that emerge light green in spring, deepen to mid-green by summer, then display a striking progression of yellow, gold, and orange-red tones in autumn before turning fully red at leaf fall. The cultivar reaches approximately 6-8 feet tall and 4-6 feet wide at maturity, making it suitable for smaller landscapes where its seasonal color transitions can be appreciated throughout the year.
