About
Acer palmatum 'Spring Blast' is a variegated cultivar prized for its striking seasonal foliage progression. In spring, leaves emerge predominantly white with prominent green veins and thick hot pink margins that gradually fade as the season advances. Summer foliage displays reticulated variegation of white and green that persists through heat, while fall brings orange tones. The deeply dissected leaves resemble those of ghost-type varieties, and the plant develops an upright, moderately sized habit reaching 6-8 feet tall and 4-6 feet wide at maturity.
