About
'Shigi no hoshi' is a compact upright Japanese maple distinguished by white reticulated variegation with dark green veining that emerges in spring, eventually turning bright yellow in autumn. The leaves are notably serrated, particularly on mature growth. This cultivar reaches approximately 4-5 feet in both height and width after ten years, making it among the smallest of the reticulated variegated upright selections.
