About
Acer palmatum 'Ruslyn in the Pink' is a dwarf cultivar with notably broad leaves for its size class. New spring foliage emerges pink to orange-pink, darkening to red and purple within weeks, then gradually fading through bronze to olive-green as summer progresses; any late-season growth repeats the pink coloring. Fall color develops as rich crimson. This cultivar grows upright with dense, uniform branching to approximately 4-6 feet tall and 3-4 feet wide at maturity, maintaining a moderately fast growth rate and open enough structure to resemble a small standard tree.
