Acer palmatum 'Red Wine' Red Japanese Maple

'Red Wine' is a relatively recent European selection of Japanese maple that displays dynamic seasonal color changes. New spring foliage emerges coral-pink red, gradually shifting to green during late spring and early summer before returning to pink-red tones with fresh growth. Fall color develops into bright orange-red. The cultivar grows as a small tree, typically reaching 10-12 feet in both height and width at maturity.
