Acer palmatum 'Pun Kil'

'Pun Kil' is a slow-growing Japanese maple with deeply lobed foliage that emerges deep red in spring and maintains that dark coloration through summer before shifting to orange-red and crimson tones in autumn. It reaches approximately 6-7 feet in height after ten years, developing a spreading, wind-swept form. The cultivar is notable for its exceptionally dark red leaf color among the wind-swept types and thrives in part shade to full sun conditions.
