FOR PICKUP ONLY | Acer palmatum 'Pixie' Japanese Maple | DOES NOT SHIP

'Pixie' is a dwarf Japanese maple with an upright, densely branched habit reaching approximately 6-8 feet in ten years and around 12 feet at full maturity after two decades. Its deeply wine-red summer foliage intensifies to bright scarlet in autumn, while distinctive dark red-to-black bark provides year-round visual interest. The cultivar maintains strong color saturation in full sun and is notably slower-growing and denser than standard red upright maples, making it well-suited to containers, small gardens, and spaces beneath utility lines. According to the growers at Mr Maple, 'Pixie' is a true grafted form prized for the particularly bright red tones it develops in spring and fall, reliably delivering vibrant color contrast in mixed plantings while remaining manageable in scale for most residential landscapes.
