About
Acer palmatum 'Osakazuki-Oh' is a recent Japanese selection that resembles its parent cultivar 'Osakazuki' with bright green summer foliage but produces notably deeper, richer orange-red autumn color. A chance seedling discovered by Kobayashi Momiji En in Japan, this upright cultivar typically reaches 12-15 feet in height after 15 years. The palmate leaves maintain consistent green tones through the growing season before transitioning to its characteristic bold fall display.
