About
'Mama Fu' is a recently registered cultivar (2012) distinguished by its dynamic seasonal foliage progression. Spring leaves emerge bright pink, then develop pink variegation over lime-green as they expand, creating a distinctive bicolored effect. Summer heat causes the pink variegation to fade to cream, while autumn brings orange-to-red coloration. This cultivar is expected to reach 10-12 feet in height over 15 years and performs well in part shade to full sun.
