About
'Little Margie' is a dwarf Japanese maple with chartreuse-green foliage distinctively bordered by rich purple-green margins. This vigorous cultivar typically reaches 2-3 feet tall by 6 feet wide in ten years and performs well in containers or as a landscape specimen. Fall color transitions from orange to red, and the selection demonstrates exceptional heat and sun tolerance. It was discovered as a chance seedling by Margie Jenkins and introduced to cultivation by Don Shadow.
