Acer palmatum Kryptonite™ Japanese Maple

'Kryptonite' is a dwarf Japanese maple with variegated foliage that emerges cream-colored in spring, maturing to deeper tones resembling 'Manyo no sato' by summer. It inherits the tight, densely layered branching habit of its parent 'Mikawa yatsubusa', creating a compact form suitable for small spaces, and displays bright yellow to orange fall color. The cultivar typically reaches 3-4 feet in height and width at maturity.
