Acer palmatum 'Kingsville #1' Japanese Maple

Acer palmatum 'Kingsville #1' is an upright Japanese maple with distinctively broad, rounded leaves that twist and undulate as they mature, creating a wave-like texture when laid flat. Foliage emerges bright red in early spring, darkening to deep maroon by summer, though close inspection reveals an emerald center to each leaf that adds visual depth. The tree maintains strong red coloration throughout the growing season before shifting to fiery red or deeper maroon in autumn. It reaches approximately 15 feet tall over 20 years, making it suitable as a mid-sized upright specimen for garden and landscape use.
