Acer palmatum 'King George Broom' Dwarf Red KGB Japanese Maple Tree

'King George Broom' is a dwarf Japanese maple with a dense, rounded habit reaching approximately 3-4 feet in height and width at maturity. Foliage emerges bright red-pink in spring, with new growth remaining vibrant red throughout the season while older leaves deepen to dark maroon, creating a distinctive multi-colored effect; summer foliage may fade toward green depending on light exposure. Fall color transitions to bright orange-red. This cultivar originated as a witches' broom found on an atropurpureum-type tree and is known to hold its red coloration best in full sun.
