About
'Judy Girl Broom' is a dwarf Japanese maple selected from a witch's broom mutation, notable for leaves slightly larger than typical broom cultivars and displaying vibrant red coloration throughout the growing season. Spring foliage emerges in shades of pink and red, transitioning to red with emerald undertones in summer before shifting to orange-red in autumn. This compact selection is expected to reach 2-3 feet in height within 10 years, making it suitable for containers and small-space gardens.
