Acer palmatum 'Judith Ann' Japanese Maple

'Judith Ann' is an upright laceleaf Japanese maple with finely dissected foliage that emerges yellow-green in spring before maturing to green. A vigorous selection likely originating as a seedling of 'Seiryu', it develops bright red to deep red fall color. The cultivar reaches approximately 10-12 feet tall in 15 years with an upright habit, offering reliable performance in gardens where hardy laceleaf maples are desired.
