FOR PICKUP ONLY | Acer palmatum 'Hubbs Red Willow' Japanese Maple | DOES NOT SHIP

Acer palmatum 'Hubbs Red Willow' is a vigorous Japanese maple with elongated, thread-like foliage that emerges bright red in spring and matures to deep maroon, creating a bamboo-like texture that moves elegantly in the wind. The tree reaches 10-12 feet tall over 10-12 years, developing a rounded canopy, and displays exceptional bright cherry-red fall color. According to the growers at Mr Maple, this cultivar was introduced by Dick Wolf of Red Maple Nurseries and named after Elwood Hubbs of New Jersey; it pairs well in landscapes with contrasting plants such as yellow-leafed Japanese maples or light-colored ornamental grasses to showcase its distinctive dark coloration and refined texture.
