About
'Green Trompenburg' is a compact Japanese maple distinguished by deeply cupped, green foliage that mirrors the distinctive leaf morphology of 'Trompenburg' but retains a verdant hue rather than the typical dark coloration of that cultivar. It reaches approximately 6 feet in height after ten years, making it suitable for smaller garden spaces. Foliage transitions to bright yellow and orange tones in autumn. This cultivar performs best with afternoon shade and pairs well with other textured Japanese maples in mixed plantings.
