About
Acer palmatum dissectum 'Crimson Princess' is a dwarf weeping laceleaf selection with finely dissected foliage that emerges bright cherry-red in spring and transitions to lighter red tones through summer, rather than deepening to maroon as in many red cultivars. The tree reaches approximately 3-4 feet in height and width at maturity, making it notably compact compared to other dissectum types. Fall color intensifies to bright crimson-red. This cultivar's refined, cascading habit and consistent warm red coloration throughout the growing season make it well-suited for small gardens and containers.
