Acer palmatum 'Columba' Rare Japanese Maple

Acer palmatum 'Columba' is a dwarf Japanese maple with a naturally compact, rounded habit and small palmate leaves. In spring, foliage emerges lime green with distinct purple-red margins and yellow and scarlet accents, creating multicolored effect. The cultivar grows slowly at approximately 4-8 inches per year, reaching 4-6 feet tall and wide after ten years and developing into a dense, rounded specimen. Its restrained growth and ornamental appeal throughout the year make it well suited to containers, bonsai, rock gardens, and small landscape spaces.
