About
'Ao shidare' is a weeping Japanese maple with finely dissected foliage displaying a blue-green hue throughout the growing season. It develops a distinctly cascading, umbrella-like form, reaching approximately 4-5 feet tall and 6-7 feet wide at maturity. Fall foliage transitions to bright golden yellow. This cultivar is well-suited as a focal point specimen or container plant where its elegant drooping branching habit can be fully appreciated.
