Acer palmatum 'Aka Ito Misho'

'Aka Ito Misho' is a delicate Japanese maple with finely dissected, thread-like foliage that emerges red and matures to a deep burgundy throughout the growing season. This cultivar develops a graceful, upright habit and reaches a modest mature size suitable for small gardens and containers. It performs well in part shade to full sun and displays reliable autumn color before leaf drop.
