Acer griseum X nikoense 'Cinnamon Flake' Hybrid Paperbark Maple

'Cinnamon Flake' is a hybrid between Acer griseum and A. nikoense, distinguished by cinnamon-colored exfoliating bark that peels to reveal lighter inner bark. The trifoliate leaves emerge kelly green in spring, providing strong contrast to the bare cinnamon bark, and transition to bright red in autumn. This hybrid combines the ornamental peeling bark characteristic of A. griseum with the greater vigor of A. nikoense, resulting in a larger tree with exfoliating bark that develops more rapidly than pure A. griseum selections, making it valuable for winter landscape interest.
