About
'Naruto Kaede' is a trident maple distinguished by its three-lobed leaves that curl inward along their margins, revealing both the dark green upper surface and glossy undersides simultaneously, an effect intensified in full sun exposure. The tree grows at a moderate to fast rate with a vase-shaped form when young, eventually reaching 60 feet at maturity, though typical 10-year specimens reach 20-25 feet tall and 10-14 feet wide. Foliage remains dark green through spring and summer before turning orange in autumn. This cultivar tolerates full sun conditions well.
