About
'Inazuma nishiki' is a variegated trident maple with distinctive splotched foliage that shifts through several colors seasonally. Leaves emerge in early spring with bright pink variegation, gradually maturing to white and then cream by mid-summer. The cultivar is vigorous and reaches approximately 12 feet in height at maturity. Early spring pruning before leafbreak encourages denser variegation and more pronounced coloration.
